Ken and Karen visited Seattle in May 2002, and they moved there six weeks later. They fell in love with the Pacific Northwest, and their two children also call it home. The Hunts have always enjoyed sharing this beautiful area with friends and family, and look forward to helping guests explore the amazing restaurants, sporting events, unique music venues, family-friendly activities, and outdoor adventures.
The iTrip's business model was the perfect fit for Karen and Ken since they know firsthand why a five-star guest experience is so valuable because several of their vacations have been in rental homes. Their shared experience of managing a rental property and Karen’s observations of her family’s busy short-term rental property in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, meant they also had expectations that iTrip's advanced systems would result in rental revenue growth for their homeowners.

Karen grew up in North Carolina and spent 18 years in sales. She enjoys focusing her energy on taking care of her clients and developing long-term relationships. Karen knows how to deliver great customer service and is excited to offer beautiful properties to guests. Her attention to detail will ensure each property will be cared for as if it was her own. In addition, Karen's MBA and non-profit leadership positions will ensure she builds a strong team to address the needs of each homeowner and guest.
Ken grew up living in many places including New York, San Francisco, Dallas, and near London, England. Through work, travel, and family vacations, he has seen much of the world and enjoyed many travel experiences. Yet his favorite place is the Seattle area.
Ken is a serial entrepreneur having been on executive teams for numerous start-ups, helping them grow to multi-million dollar companies. He has served as CEO numerous times in areas such as agriculture, direct marketing and software development. Ken is excited to work with Karen in utilizing his MBA, law degree, and years of business experience to bring all iTrip Seattle offers to Seattle rental property owners and guests.
